‘Chernobyl: A Million Casualties’ taped before Fukushima, now on BlipTV

Because the true consequences of Chernobyl provide a baseline for what people should know as the impacts of the disaster unfold in Japan, EnviroVideo has released an important new video, “Chernobyl: A Million Casualties.” Watch it at http://blip.tv/file/4922080

This 29-minute film is based on the book recently published by the New York Academy of Sciences, Chernobyl: Consequences of the Catastrophe for People and the Environment, which concludes that, based on now available medical data, 985,000 people died as a result of the Chernobyl disaster, as of 2004.

“Chernobyl: A Million Casualties” will air nationally on Free Speech TV (freespeech.org) on April 23rd. The 25th anniversary of Chernobyl is April 26.
